Diaper size question

DS has been in 3's for what seems like forever.  Recently he has been having blow outs but it only seems to happen when he's sitting in his high chair or something like that.  I'm hesitant to buy a larger size because the 3's still fit well in the waist.  Do I need to go with a larger size anyway?

    possibly, we had to switch to 4s a long time agp, but probably will still be in them for awhile for the length.  we can still close the tabs to be on top of each other and they are still a bit "tall" on her (they come up well over her belly button) but the 3s were WAY too tight.

    Wow he is still in 3s I am jealous my LO is in 3s and way younger.

    He's always had a skinny butt and legs.  He wore newborn diapers for almost 2 months and was almost 7 lbs at birth
