How often do you talk to YOUR mom?

Most days I talk to my mom on the phone. So almost every day. DH thinks that it is weird that I do. He only talks to him mom about 1 time a week...and that is only if she calls him. How often do you talk to your mom? Am I the only one?

I talk to my mom every day or every other day and in fact just got off the phone with her. I usually call her when pumping.

DH talks to his mom maybe 1-2 times a month.

I talk to my mom about 1-2 times a day and we see her a couple times a week most weeks. With that said I talk to my MIL at least 1 a week my DH gets jealous that she calls me but its only to check on him and my DD. I am lucky to have a great MIL and Mom.

My mom lives across the street so everyday. Not as bad as it sounds! LOL! I get along really good w/my family so I love it. My dh only talks to his once a week though.

Daily. But I think it's normal for daughters to talk to their moms more than their sons (on average). I talk to my Mom even more especially since having a baby.

Because of multiple circumstances in my family (mom retired, sister going through divorce/custody battle, Patrick being born) I have seen and talked to my mom way more this year than probably all the years since high school combined. I really do love her, but we have just been really close this year and it is a transition.

Background: Her and my dad ended up living with us for the frist 6 weeks of Patricks birth due to the stuff with my sister and then moved back in with us for 5 weeks when he was 6mo old.

Depends.....some weeks it is 12-15 times and the following week it could be once....depends on what is going on.

My MIL on the other hand calls every frickin day.....and usually right when we are doing her bedtime routine.....WHY!!!!!! My husband will call her most nights anyways so I don't know why she calls every night at that time. And she will say in the message....oh, you are probably putting Amelia to bed.....so she knows.

2-3 times a month. ?I'm one of four kids, and my mom has a full time job. ?It does make me sad sometimes, but I can tell she's so exhausted, so I just don't bother. ?I am the one who calls her. ?She is constantly tending to my 3 other sisters.

I must be strange but I only talk to my mom once a week...four kids and she and I are super busy. Usually more via email. My DH talks to his mom almost everyday, mostly because she stalks him.

Almost daily. Sometimes more than once. If I don't talk to her, we're emailing. And I WAH on Mondays, so she stops to see Ben on her way to work.

DH only talks to his mom once a week, or so.

I think most men just have a much different relationship w/ their moms and don't feel the need to talk to them as much. I have two brothers and the dynamic of their relationship w/ our mom vs. the relationship that my sisters and I have with her is totally different. The girls are much closer with her than the boys are.

I used to talk to her everyday. I called her everyday around 9 when DS went down for his morning nap and we would talk for an hour. Then at least 4 days a week, we would meet up for lunch or I would go over to see her.....I miss her....it's been almost 8 months and I still find myself picking up the phone to tell her something and then suddenly remembering, she's gone. I still call the house on occasion when I know my dad isn't home just to hear her voice on the answering machine.

DH talks to his mom several times a week.

Once a week or every other week. We aren't close. I made it a habit to start calling her about that often when I was in college. If I didn't, she would start bugging me about things. Better to head her off early.

Since we are 3 hours apart, almost everyday or on average at least 5 times a week. Sometimes couple times a day if I have a question or news.

I wish I could talk to my mom every day. She died about 4 years ago, but yeah, I used to talk to her every day. MIL on the other hand, I talk to when I have to.
