which is digested slower, breast milk or formula? I thought it was formula but ever since my milk slowed down and I've had to supplement with formula, DS is only sleeping 3 hours at a time at night and he had been sleeping 5-6! I want so desperately to get my milk back up.

I believe BM is digested quicker because it is what babies systems are 'designed' for (which is also why they need less). I could be way off though. I thought formula was supposed to keep them satisfied longer.

Formula is supposed to be harder to digest. Maybe that's why he's waking up-- he could be gassy or something.
