My boobs are starting to fail me.

We are not nursing but I pump and bottle feed (he also gets formula).  I was pumping 3x/day, but in preparation for going back to work I am starting to taper it off so I dropped the afternoon session.  I figured the morning and night sessions would still give me as much milk. 

Nope, the supply is slowly tanking.  I assume my body is just adjusting thinking I don't need as much.  But the pumping is also now hurting more.  Like my boobs are telling me "just give it up woman". 

Sigh - I wanted to quit but I didn't want it to happen til April.  Stupid boobs.

    I think it would be REALLY hard to keep up a decent supply pumping only twice a day.  Even 3X/day is probably not enough. 

    I don't think your body is failing you, it's only responding to what you are doing, or not doing, as the case may be.
