How did they finally diagnose your LO with reflux? What did they do at the GI?

    We have never been to a GI.  Based on all of her symptoms, the pediatrician diagnosed LO and she started out taking Zantac which didnt work and now takes Prevacid.

    He was diagnosed by his neonatologist based on his symptoms.  I think the GI only does special tests when things are really bad and not responding to meds.

    Okay, I was just curious because we have an appt with the GI in 2 weeks.

    She had a swallow study done in the NICU and they diagnosed it then.  It's a quick test that she slept right through!
