When to lower crib mattress

When did you lower your DC's crib mattress? I'm thinking I need to do it, DD isn't sitting up on her own yet, but she does move all over and can sorta grab at the top of the crib. I am sure if she was determined enough she could pull herself up. I'm gonna have DH lower it tonight, but was just curious when you all lowered yours. TIA!

At our 6 mo checkup, pedi said to lower it, so we did. I hate it b/c she is too low for me to lean in for a kiss.

lol! Thanks, i am the same way... i already have to hang over the side to give her a smooch and she is on the highest setting! guess i will for sure lower it now!

DD started sitting up at around 6 months and we lowered it then.
