Night terrors?

Can a 3 month old have night terrors?  The other day DD was napping and all of a sudden made the most horrific scream...and didn't stop.  I RAN to her, and she was inconsolable for a few minutes.  And finally, in my arms, stopped crying.  She's done this a couple more times since.  And then last night (well, I tried to go to bed 4 hours ago, but haven't slept a wink) she did this many, many times.  I finally brought her into bed with me, and she did better for a while.  And then she just did it again.  It took a long time to calm her down this time.  I just don't know what to do for her.  Or what is wrong for that matter!  Anyone else had this experience?  Any suggestions?  Thoughts?  TIA!

    It might just be teething. The pain might wake her up and that is why you have such a hard time putting her back down.
