2 month shots - sleeping?

they got their 2 months shots this morning (7hrs ago) and cried for about 5 minutes and have been asleep ever since.  How long can I expect them to be sleepier?  please say throughout the night.  We haven't had to give them tylenol yet because they've had no reactions.

  • My LO did the exact same thing. He woke up three hours later and screamed for four hours until he fell asleep for the night. We gave him more Tyleno as soon as he woke up after his nap.

  • DD got her 2 month shots 6 hours ago...she also screamed for about 5 mins and went to sleep (which was great because I could run errands at Target while she just slept away in her carseat)  She woke up 4 hours later screaming again, I gave her a bottle which she ate most of, and some Tylenol (Pedi said it's okay to give it to her, even if she doesn't have a reaction since the injection site is sore) and she's back asleep again.  She said to expect the sleepy pattern for 24 hours, sometimes 48.  I hope she'll sleep through the night, or at least more than normal!

  • DD had hers a week ago.

She freaked for a few minutes, I nursed her at the dr's office, she slept for 4 hours, woke to feed again, slept solid again, this went on until 1:30am, when she awoke with a low-grade fever and much fussiness, and wouldn't go back to sleep, so I gave Tylenol, and she slept until 6:45am.
