Massage Envy

Just an FYI - if you have a Massage Envy in your area and are a first time customer, you can get any kind of massage for only $49.  Then, if you sign up for a membership, you only pay $59 dollars for one massage a month.  That sure beats $89 for a massage!

Re: Massage Envy

  • DH just treated me to a massage there on Sunday.  It felt great!  Haven't sprung for the membership yet, but it is definitely in the back of my mind!

  • After my massage I was convinced so I signed up.  I asked DH if he thought I should call and cancel and he was like "why"?  My thoughts exactly.  I am going to pamper myself.

  • I just signed up there in Feb!!  I got a gift cert for xmas and once I used it I signed up to do it monthly, it was soo nice!!!!!

DH said he's going to prepay for a couple for my bday next month.  And, I'm going to let me mom know that I'm doing it a a hint that in case she wants to buy me one as a shower gift!

  • Oh - and pricing may be different around the country.  I'm pretty sure my monthly ones are $49.
  • Thanks for the info!!! Will relay to DH ASAP! Wink
  • I just had a massage there last week and it was terrible.  I scheduled a prental massage and the therapist didnt event know I was pregnant when I showed up.  Im 26 weeks you can't miss the bump!

Just make sure that whatever location you go the therapist are "certified in Prenatal"  masages.  This is really important, becuase they know which areas are okay to massage and where to avoid.  Becuase there are presure points around your ankles that can trigger contractions.  They also know the proper positioning to keep you from laying on your back.
