First of all, I can't decide whether to rhyme or not. I'm leaning toward not.
Also, we plan to serve casual buffet style lunch (sandwiches, salad, appetizers) but we aren't having the party until 1 pm for maximum "awake time" since he's often snoozing past noon. So do you think I need to mention lunch so that people won't think they need to eat before they come?
As in "please join us for lunch, cake and ice cream to celebrate DS's first birthday?"
Also, this is a small group, just family and our best friend couple. I'm sure people will let me know whether they're coming, so should I even bother with "RSVP?"
Thanks! As you can see from my ticker, I'm REALLY behind getting these out. oops.
Re: birthday invitation questions
I didn't rhyme....my wording was simple....danny is turning 1! please come help us celebrate Danny's 1 bday.
You can put RSVP so this way then when everyone calls, tell them that you're serving lunch.
