How soon do P4 levels "die off"

once AF arrives? For example, if you O'ed and then had AF......would your P4 show anything on CD5?

    Thanks...Im just slightly confused. I got AF 9 days after my last Clomid pill...could have spontaneously Oed on my own...so RE wants to check my P4...BUT....on Wednesday...which will be cd 5 for me!  makes no sense...

  • My clinic will allow baselines on CD3-5 so you're OK.  CD5 isn't too late to figure it out.

    Ok..you made me feel better.  So, basically there will be a way, on CD5, for them to see if I O'ed?

  • Well I am not sure.  I thought the only way to confirm is to take a 7 day past ovulation progesterone test to be sure you did.  But there might be another way.
