Need a middle name for Janie
We love the name Janie and are really set on it, but we are having the hardest time with a middle name. We have come up with the basics like Catherine and Elizabeth, which are both pretty, but we aren't sold.
Any ideas?
Our last name is only 4 letters long and starts with a B.

No the legal name will be Janie.
If she wants to have a NN Jane when she is old enough to choose fine by me, but we have no desire to name her Jane.

I agree. What about Jeanine and calling her Janie? I love the name Jeanine! Also, Janelle is nice.

I have to agree that it may be embarrassing for a teenager to have a legal name of Janie (and not able to change it until 18). With Jane nn Janie, she could go by Janie but not have to fill out legal papers and things with the name Janie (school things, license, etc.). Just something to think about.
