Cloudy urine normal ?

I'm 10 1/2 weeks along and have noticed lately cloudy urine .. Is that normal ? No other symptoms that I've noticed that could be related .. Any help would be appreciated

    Cloudy urine is one sign of a urinary tract infection. If you also have burning pain when you pee, your pee smells unpleasant, you have abdominal pain or feel sick, you should go and give a urine sample to your doctor. I'm very prone to UTIs and the main indicator is pain when peeing. However, vaginal discharge during pregnancy often makes urine look cloudy, and you get a lot more discharge while pregnant which is completely normal.

    Like PP said, it could be a UTI so watch out for those other symptoms. I discovered that, while pregnant, if I ate a lot of starchy carbs (as in potato chips, one of the few things I could stomach during first tri), I had cloudy urine the next day. I talked about it with my OB and she said the excess carbs could cause that, but she did test to rule out a UTI.

    Thanks for the info everyone ... I haven't had any other pain so maybe it's just the increased discharge and carb intake .. I'll talk to my doc too .. Appreciate the feedback
