So I went to my OB office for another u/s to confirm the loss. The NP there is awesome - first time I ever had her (usually my OB does everything herself but she is on vacation). She was very patient and took her time with the ultra sound. She looked at everything - lining, position of the sac, measurements and all.
Well, she actually found 2 sacs. I measuring 5 weeks and 1 too small to measure. So it looks like I m/c twins 
She asked for the day of my IUI, and I mentioned I was charting and know that I implanted late - she even let me log on to her computer to show her my FF chart!!!!!!
Taking all those dates in consideration she told me I should be measuring at least 7w1d. According to my LMP I should be 7w5d.
She does not think it will come out on its own. It has no signs of bleeding or deterioration. Since it has been over for 2 weeks now, she suggested (and actually really pushed it) for a D&C. I scheduled it for next wedn. but still wanna talk to Dh and RE about it.
It really hurts to know I could have had twins. My dad has a twin brother and his mom has a twin sister. His sister gave me 2 twin cousins.... I would be so happy to continue the family "tradition"

I am sorry. I've been thinking of you and your DH.
FWIW, my missed m/c was discovered at 10 weeks exactly and I was measuring at 7 weeks, 5 days. At the time my cervix was "tightly closed" and I was having minimal brown spotting. I had a natural m/c 6 days later at 10 weeks, 6 days. I really wanted to avoid the D&C and the OB was supportive.

Don't give up hope, you will be a mommy! Will they be doing any sort of testing?

Luvs, I am so sorry for your loss.. I know there really arent any words to make it better just know that your not alone and all of us here are feeling for you in ways only us TTCAL girls can.. **HUGS**
