What are you doing the day of induction?

in 3rd Trimester
I have a planned induction on Monday night and I know I'm going to lose my mind all day. I'd like to say that I'll be sleeping and resting up, but I know myself too well and that is probably not feasible. What are you doing or what did you do to keep yourself from going crazy during the day?

    god, I am so not there, but I might do the following -

    get a massage? go to the movies?  if you can't sleep, mine as well do something relaxing...you could get a manicure or pedicure....paint something fun on your toes to look at while you feet are in the air :)

    If I know I will be induced, I'd like to spend that last day alone with my DH.  It will really be the last day that it's just the two of you.

    for me, the day wasn't anything out of the ordinary.  i just went about my day, made sure i had everything together.  i'm glad i wasn't all consumed w/ the induction b/c when i called that evening to go in, the hospital didn't have a room available.  they weren't ready for me until the next day, so that would have been wasted stress.  anyway, good luck to you!!!

    I'll probably spend as much time as I can with DH - Maybe go out to lunch.  I'm also hoping to get a pedicure to help relax me.  After that I'm just planning to get as much rest as possible.

    My induction is scheduled for 6:30am, so I am most worried about being able to sleep the night before.
