Does this happen to anyone else?

Here is how the conversation goes........

Other person: When is your due date? How much longer do you have?

Me: 7-8 weeks ( that was when this start happening)

OP: are you going to make it that long?

Me: yes, there is no reason I shouldnt

Then I just see their eyes scan my belly with disbelief.  Apparently there are a few people who think I am gigantic, and there is no way I will make it 7 more weeks.

I also had someone ask me if the dr thinks the baby is really big or anything like that?

Does this happen to others?  I am big, but not huge.  I know I still have room to grow.

    All the time - I am 5'1 and carrying all out in front.  Out of nowhere I am not busting out of all my clothes, and everyone is starting to notice.  Yet, for some reason, no one can keep their comments to themselves.  Real nice.

    I usually get the opposite about how small I look. No, I'm not small, I've gained a disgusting 35 lbs already!?

    Yes, this happens to me too.

    I swear people look at me crazy when I tell them that I have 5 1/2 weeks to go! It is what it is - not much I can do.

    I am big - bigger than with my first for sure - but i am not that huge!

    It's just as annoying on the other end of the spectrum...

    OP: How far along are you?
    Me: 30 weeks
    OP: *scans belly* Really?  You're so small. Is everything OK?
    Me: Yes. Doc says I'm measuring fine and there are no problems.
    OP: Um, OK (like they don't believe me).

    I'm fine people!  Baby's fine and YES, for the love of God, I'm eating enough.
