How long 'til someone from the SSTB comes over and reams out Justus for breaking that news again?!
I love the irony that she posted that, trying to humiliate SG, and yet, she let it get to 34 replies (and who knows how many reads---perhaps by those very same IRL people that didn't know the news yet) before deleting it. ?
Really, didn't that just call more attention to the whole thing than the original faux pas?

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I get it. Why were there 30+ replies, though?
everyone is missing the point of justus' post and now more posts are being made with the news that wasn't meant to be shared in a public forum. if everyone liked the person the news was about and respected her and her wishes, you all would make all of this go away.
I always completely forget that SSTB even exists unless some drama like this happens. I seriously have memory issues.
As far as the OP I never would have known about any of this without thed follow up post.
LOL! By that logic, Justus must not like PF very much. A PM with a quick page to SG to let her know she had a PM would have been far more "respectful."
Grace, EXACTLY!!! I just got here a few minutes ago and would NEVER have even seen SG's OP if Justus hadn't come barging in and making a huge deal about it. ??
And I'm VERY happy for the person in question and sorry that her news got shared w/o her consent, but Justus DIDNT' do her any favors by coming over here and ensuring that the topic kept going. ??

If you had read everything instead of jumping on the *Ihatejustus4* bus you would have seen that I posted that as asked to.
And you would also have seen that I was planning on deleteling the whole post when PF asked me to.

Honestly, though, if you were asked to post that reaming out, aside from just sending a PM to SG, then really, where's the secret? ?If the person w/ the news is asking you to REPOST the news in your post, there's no secret. ??
Yeah, when I am upset that someone blabbed my news on a website I don't even visit, I typically have someone broadcast a tirade, with all the pertinent info right in the subject, in the middle of the day on the same site.
There are a couple of ways to go about these things, it seems this was the most non-sensical.

FYI to all SSTB members -- current nesties don't stalk you for precious nuggets of information about your lives. However, if someone posts something that is nice in your life, you'll probably get congratulations from people who remember you. THE NERVE, I know. But the way to have it die down is to send someone else to the nest to chastise us. And then come yourself and chastise nesties again.

I think coming here and yelling at us because we posted our congratulations is pretty b!tchy. I had no idea that this was private information. Everyone here was excited and happy for her. She has every right to be upset that the information was posted. I just thinking it would be more appropriate to be upset with the person who posted it than with everyone else.
