m/s sucks & I regret saying "I wish I had more symptoms"

I have been very nauseous the last week and a half. I call mine "evening sickness." It seems to hit at about 4-5pm and doesn't go away until bedtime. Then I wake up in the middle of the night with it when I have to pee - haven't thrown up yet, but am feeling it's not too far away.

  • Thursday night I was thinking I don't feel any different. Then on Friday I had to leave work at lunch time because I was so sick. I ended up throwing up once I got home and felt like crap again yesterday. For me, the key is to eat periodically throughout the day. I am keeping soda crackers in my purse and next to the bed. I ate a couple crackers last night when I woke up to pee.

  • I tried soda crackers, but they make me want to yak. I had my husband pick me up some Chex cereal; I'm going to try munching on that in the middle of the night and first thing in the morning.
  • I do Ritz crackers myself.
  • Tator tots and cherry limeaide is amazing... sometimes that was the only thing besides saltines I could keep down!

  • it blows -- mine is ALWAYS worse at night.

Try starting to sip on a full-calorie soda around 3:30pm. ?Drink it slowly & make it last about an hour or so. ?It's been the only thing that has really helped ease mine in the evenings, but it doesn't always work.?
