Graco Snugride and Lead?

I tried to search this board, but nothing came up so sorry if this was discussed.  I was just wondering b.c I saw on some blog online some stores were pulling the car seats due to lead in the base.  Anyone know anything about it, I can't find much online? THX

    IVF Round 1 - Retrieved 20 eggs, 8 confirmed blasts as chromosomally normal and one xfrd 9/25/2013 BFP on 10/9. EDD 6/13/2014

    see, I would be more concerned if there was excessive lead in the in the carseat itself, if it is just the base, I doubt that my son will come into that close of contact with it. But I haven't heard anything specific about it and i haven't received any info on a recall, sometimes BRU has a list of recalls.

    My BRU still has their products out. I just got my carseat and stroller.

    that was my concern....but I agree with your assessment

    based on what I can tell... is that it isn't "officially" recalled...its a wait and see since the govn't changed the acceptable lead levels and graco is being cautious....

    BRU isn't listing it on their recall list and graco doesn't have anything either...apparently this is very recent (last 2 weeks)

    I know BRU pulled the Graco Metrolite Regal travel system off the shelves because of the lead.
