Anyone try wheat germ oil pills to help with

uterine lining? My acupuncturist mentioned it may help with the uterine lining but just wondering if anyone else has tried it. On the day of my IUI, which was Friday, my lining was 6.5mm and she said that it was a side effect of the clomid. However, she was still ok with doing the IUI because she said 6 is the minimum they will do. Just wondering if anyone has tried the wheat germ oil pills?

Also do you really think pineapple juice helps with implantation?

i haven't tried it... not sure if you are opposed to more meds...but an estrogen patch can help thicken your lining to counteract the thinning that is cause by the clomid.

Good to know. RE did not offer that but I will ask if it happens again next cycle. She wants to try clomid one more month after this.

if this cycle does not work, then i would ask at the beginning of your next cycle when you go in for your CD3 u/s. if i recall correctly, the plan w/my doctor was take take clomid for 5 days and then immediately start the estrogen patch the day after. in the end, we didn't need to do that b/c i took femara instead of clomid. it doesn't thin the lining like clomid does, so that's another option you can discuss with your RE. good luck!

Thanks so much. Yeah I have been reading more about Femara and I am wondering why she would not let me try Femara instead. I will definitely ask her these questions now. Thanks again.
