And I must say, I'm a lot more productive and healthy without Joe.
I don't have to pick up clothes off of the floor, dishes are put away, garbage is taken out, laundry piles aren't huge.
I'm not making huge meals for dinner, so I'm eating lighter. Lost 2 pounds since he left- not sure if its the meals or the Wii Fit working.
I was able to re-paint the guest bedroom after Katie went down for the night. I just have to do one more coat.
I would trade that all in though just to have him home. I miss him terribly and talking on the phone and through facebook just sucks. He isn't coming home on the weekends, so we have 1 week and 5 days until he is back.
Oh and the bad part. Katie started taking steps the day after he left. I will stand a couple of feet away from her and she is letting go to come to me. I bet she is walking better by the time he does get home.

You are the most productive person I know!
I know it's gotta be tough without your other half... I know I'd miss Jeremy terribly too! It sounds like you are keeping yourself busy though!
Since you are making your guest room Katie's Big girl room, what are you doing with the nursery?
Hope time goes quickly for ya! Oh and go Katie with taking steps!
Wow! Sounds very productive! I'm sure you miss your DH, but it sounds like you're keeping yourself busy enough that time will fly by and he'll be home before you know it!
But I do agree with you - the house is always a little cleaner, neater, and less cluttered without husbands around isn't it? Ha ha

Wow, that is SERIOUSLY productive! I do agree with you... it's amazingly cleaner when my DH isn't around much. When I'm tired of cleaning I miss my 1 BR apt. But then I think of my lonely weekends, and wouldn't trade the clutter for the world. My life is so much better with him in it.
Go Katie!!! Did you get her on video??? I know it's not the same, but still he should see her take 'just a few steps' before the all out walking starts.
Katie: 1/16/08 2lbs. 15oz.
Abby & Emily: 12/31/10 6lbs. 2oz. & 5lbs. 7oz.
My goodness... I wish I had a 1/4 of your energy. 5 hours at dialysis and I am just about done for the whole day. I am jealous!
