I pooped on the table, y'all

Coming to you from the hosp. bed, where I have 45 minutes left on DH's computer's battery (NO power cable with us, boo!)
Water broke at 7pm.
We got to the hosp. at 7:30pm.
I WAS 9CM.
Dashiell Jack was born at 7:59pm. He weighed 9lbs, 5oz and 20 1/2 in long -- a VERY big baby.
And I pushed him out of my cooch with no drugs. There was no time for drugs. My midwife didn't make it ... I got the OB on call instead.
Dash was having some trouble breathing so he's in the NICU. They'll keep him there overnight on the CPAP machine, but he's already on room O2 and is doing really well. His sugar was low so they gave him some dextrose in his IV and he's on antibiotics for suspected respiratory distress syndrome.
Still, he's doing so well we're confident he'll go home with us in a day or two.
Y'all. We are SUCH BAD second time parents ... we have NO pictures. Hope to remedy that soon.
THANK YOU for all the well wishes. I'm really going to miss y'all but hope you guys who are waiting have your babies soon and those who are farther out have excellent deliveries when the time is right.
(may I recommend the drugs? Holy heII)

aww congrats, jen! I can't believe he was 9 lbs! that boy was ready to come out! I hope he gets breathing good and can go home w/ you soon!

So what did you spray some Pam down there to make him come out so fast?!?! I can't believe that you were sitting at home dialated to 9cm!

Your a rockstar. Pushing that big baby out with no drugs, and really, no warning signs that he was on his way. Major props to you, and your strong little man. Congrats on your little bundle of joy, and I hope that hes doing well and able to go home when you do.
Are you freakin' kidding me??? I just popped on to see if there were any updates from you and I'm in utter and total shock!!! I can't believe you already popped your sweet baby out!!! Congratulations!!!! I'm so, so happy for you and I'm so glad it went so fast. Can't wait to see pictures! Congratulations -- I'm still in shock! Yay!!!
P.S. You're officially my hero! And I hope Dash will be able to go home with you.
OMG!! I can't believe how big he is!! Apparently he was VERY ready!! Congratulations on such a quick delivery!! While I'm sure it SUCKED to be in that kind of pain, at least it wasn't very long!!
