LOL! I confused myself and made myself look stupid with my first reply..
Just for the record.. we can afford extra chocolate milk, we just don't get extra because then our white milk gets wasted. We save that extra $4 for something else!
ok.. i'm done now with this subject.
Re: I really should have stayed out of the milk post..
haha my first reply made me look like I too couldn't afford milk! haha! I don't think when I type sometimes.. i'm not cracking up at myself over this! i'm such a jackass!
lol yes! there you go! All I can say is please excuse the pregnancy brain!
LOL! Don't let it bother you! Just laugh it off... by the way.. I love how you put "baby will eat from my boob" haha! That cracked me up!
OMG I can't believe I even got into this...
What you're saying about your DH IS true... but you were concerned about YOUR milk intake/calcium b/c you said you only drink chocolate. How does HIM having white milk still to drink have anything to do with you needed milk to drink since you won't even drink white milk'? We just don't get what you're saying b/c you keep changing it all around.
What I'm saying is that he should drink his own effing milk, which he bought for himself, and leave mine alone. Or if he is going to drink mine, then he should buy a bigger carton. I just think its annoying that he knows its the only milk I drink, didn't buy enough, and now wants to share.
Yikes, bethie, sorry for hijacking your post. Clearly I should just laugh it off, but its like someone telling someone with an eating disorder that they've gotten HUGE. Just struck a nerve because I wish I could give my baby more, and even though I KNOW they will have everything they need it has been so stressful figuring everything out.
My apologies. I really shouldn't come on here unless I actually sleep the night before. I burned a pancake today and started weeping in the kitchen.
I didn't get pissed off. I was annoyed. And IMO, if something on the shopping list is specifically for me, he should have to ask if he wants some. Just like I will not eat his oreos without asking him, because they are his cookies.
All of this talk about chocolate milk is making me want some.
That is all I have to contribute to the topic. I'm off to make some choco leche.
But I think the bottom line is he was nice enough TO ask and you said it was OK, then get annoyed. So the only logical solution is to either buy more chocolate milk from the start, buy more when it runs out (which you said you won't do b/c there is white milk, even though you won't drink that...which is what puzzled some of us) or tell him to please not drink it since he can drink the white. Not that big of a deal.
haha your fine! I cry over everything! I can't fix pancakes.. I always burn them and they turn out shapped like boomerangs. lol
really? thats kinda sibling rivalry type stuff...not husband and wife.
To me, and just my opinion here, marriage is about SHARING. No matter what it is. What yours is mine and what mine is yours kinda stuff.
BTW: there are 3 posts so far about this chocolate milk thing...
it kinda made me giggle.
LoL. Dh and I each make separate batches of pancakes because I hate the way he makes his and he hates the way I make mine. Mine had bran, oatmeal and strawberries in them. His were packed with chocolate chips. I DEFINITELY couldn't make them round, either
Call me old fashioned but how can Oreos be his cookies? Aren't you sharing things? That is part of marriage. I understand about not eating the entire bag or finishing the bag so he can have them but cookies and milk can always get replaced.
Proud mama to a boys- 6/17/09 - a girl 2/23/11- and a boy 8/20/12
We don't share absolutely everything, no. He doesn't use my fancy bathwash, and I don't shave my legs with his shaving cream. He gets oreos, I get Pirates peanut butter cookies. If he eats all his oreos and then wants some of mine, I'm sorry, but too freaking bad. He does this ALL THE TIME and its effing annoying. Thats why we came up with the rule about not buying more until next week in the first place. He would snack us out of house and home on junk food, and let the veggies and fruit go bad in the fridge.
See the other milk post...apparently it's not even MILK...I guess they only drink organic soy milk.... again, this just gets weirder.
