He has reflux and ever since he has been diagnosed he has been a very fussy eater. Before the reflux became a problem he ate great. I was told to start solids early so that it would help out with the reflux. Anyway currently he is 5 months old and he only eats about 20 oz. a day but he also eats 2 Tbs. of cereal and usually about 2 jars of baby food. He has been gaining well but I just worry so much about how little he eats. If anyone else has a similar problem can you please tell me how old your DC is and how much they eat. Someone PLEASE put my mind at ease about this, thanks.
Re: Anyone have a baby that is just not a big eater?
I am guessing that my 8.5 month old gets about 20 oz. of breastmilk and 2.5 jars of food per day. She just doesn't want more than that.
If he's gaining, I wouldn't worry.
