Small amount of brown spotting

So, I'm a natural worry wart!! I guess I just need some reassurance. I just went to the bathroom and noticed a faint line of brown spotting. I mean real faint. But I'm kinda of worried it could progress into something more. I've had a lot of female issues in the past and I just want to have a healthy pregnancy. My next OB appointment is next tuesday. Should I wait until then if I don't anything more than brown? Or should I call now?

Is brown spotting normal? 

Anybody else noticing this when they wipe? I've had a few cramps and soreness in the pelvic area but I'm assuming that is just the cervix expanding.

    I had this issue last week--called my doctor, who was happy I called, but told me not to worry unless the flow increased or I had severe cramping.

    I had my first appt. and ultrasound this week and all looked great.  Brown blood isn't typically something to worry about in small amounts because it is old blood, but you still might want to let your doctor know.

    I'm sure all is well and I know it's hard not to worry because I was in the same exact situation last week.

    I had a miniscule amount last week, but no extra cramping. Read on here that it's normal. I haven't had any since so think it's all good.

    I was spotting for around a week. Today it was heavier then it had been so I went right to the Doctor. The Doctor heard the heart beat at 164 bpm!!! So he told me its probably old blood since its browish and to stay off my feet for a few days. If it gets worse or I have cramps with it I  have to call them. Its really scary though
