NBR: Shower invite question.

I just received an invitation to a "Surprise" bridal shower.  I put surprise in quotations because that is what the invite did.  ' You are invited to a "surprise" Bridal Shower Brunch for So-and-So'

 

Question:  Is surprise in quotes because it isn't really a surprise, or because the invitation writer had a brain fart? Am I over thinking this?

    Maybe they did it so that it would catch your eye so you would realize it is a surprise.?

    I'd call the RSVP person and ask them.

    I think they have it in quotes for emphasis.  My idiotic boss does this all the time and I always think the same as you do.
