Napping struggle - will only do so sleeping on me.

This is a new thing for DD - she has decided that her naps will only take place if she is sleeping on me or in bed with me.  She has slept in her crib at night since roughly 2 months and sleeps at night without any problems.  She used to nap on her own - not for very long.  She has recently started this.  Has it happened to anyone else?  If so, how did you stop it?  Did you just CIO?  I do hope it is just a phase....so annoying!
