Updates! *warning--LONG*

Like I said in the previous post things have been so crazy lately so I just wanted to pop on and update you all on how things were going! I have less than 50 days left and I'm getting very anxious!

We had our 4d u/s and our little guy is most certainly a boy! lol It was the most amazing thing to get to see his face and watch him move! He tried to find his thumb at one point but just decided it was too much work and went for the whole hand! He has been moving a TON lately which makes me very happy!!

We were having some insurance issues but things have worked out in amazing ways for us concerning that issue.

We got the nursery painted, his crib and changing table up, and still have some more to work on in there!

I got a new DSLR (Sony A300)! We had a crappy digital that my brother had given us so we splurged a little and got a really good camera for when the baby arrives--plus I just love taking pictures!

My DH just got hired on the spot on Wednesday for a new job that he wanted! We are thrilled about this not only bc it was perfect timing but bc with the economy now we feel truly blessed that he was able to get it.

 We got new carpet on Monday--it was definitely needed before the baby arrives bc our old stuff was nasty! We did have a few issues with it but they are coming back this weekend to fix it and since we got the new carpet we decided that if we needed to do any painting we better get it done before the new carpet was installed so we painted our bedroom, nursery, great room, hallway, and also tore down our railing since I didn't feel it was safe for baby/toddler and DH dad built a half wall for us! Our upstairs looks like a brand new house!

I also had a shower thrown by my church and it was more than I could have asked for. We ended getting obviously tons of clothes but also his pack n play, swing, and bouncer, along with many other things!!
