cookie dough ice cream?

I know we're not supposed to eat raw cookie dough.. but does anyone know if cookie dough ice cream is ok?? I need it!! LOL

I think in order to sell it, it has to be made with pasturized eggs or with no eggs, so I think you're fine.

Cookie dough ice cream is fine. So is raw cookie dough that you buy from the store because it is made with pasteurized eggs. The stuff you can't eat is the homemade cookie dough unless you make it with pasturized eggs.

The ice cream is probably ok. Vanilla ice cream is made with raw eggs most of the time and it's fine because it's all pasteurized.

Thank you for the quick responses!!!... since i'm halfway through a giant bowl of it haha and still have the rest of the half gallon in the freezer!!! I figured it was fine, but just wanted to double check
