So I'm looking for a crib for less than $275 and a changing table for less that $130.
I would really like them to match and be in the expresso color. I found a few that I liked online but only had about 3 star reviews at BRU and 4-5 at walmart.
I don't necessarily need the convertable ones and I dont really like the spiral post ones and I don't like wheels.
I know I am being picky but does anyone have any cribs similar to what I am interested in? And how do you like it so far?
Re: Crib/changing table frusteration... I need your help, again.
We got this crib:

I've seen it as cheap as $219 online.
clicky
The matching dressing table is only $90.
I found a combo set of a crib and changing table (both convertible - the changing table can become a nightstand), in a darker wood shade (not 100% on if it was espresso or not) at Target. The set was $250! That is what my mom is buying us
I would send you a link but it is not on their website. It is also not available at every Target!! We have 3 different ones close to our home, and only one of them carries it.
Espresso is very trendy right now, and spiral posts are not, so you shouldn't have any problems there. Any crib with casters (wheels) can also be set up to be without the casters -- so don't worry about what the picture shows.
I think you should have no problem finding a decent crib for $275. My top suggestion would be this one from Babies R Us: Pinehurst Espresso. It's by Babi Italia, which gets top ratings from Baby Bargains in terms of durability, and the reviews online are good as well. It's non-convertible, and $299. A little out of your price range, but you could probably keep an eye out for sales. I also saw this one: Graco Sarah, just in a quick search -- it's $160. It has 4 stars (out of 5), but it's not a brand recommended by Baby Bargains, so I wouldn't recommend it.
As for a changing table, do you just want a free standing changing table? I'd advise against that as it's a waste of space and money. I'd suggest a dresser with a changing table on top -- like this: Pinehurst Espresso Dresser. It's $500, so out of your price range, but that gives you an idea (plus, you could add together your dresser and changing table budget). You can actually turn any dresser into a changing table -- you can buy the pad to put on top of the dresser at Babies R Us.
If you really want just the changing table, the one that matches that Graco Sarah crib is only $99 -- changing table.
