    Yep.  And always bring your DC's birth certificate to verify your child's age or they will make you buy a seat... even if they ARE under 2.

  • check with the airline.  It's written on all airline's websites.

    No problem! Unfortunately, my DH and I learned this the hard way. I never travel without it now.

    And FWIW, the 2 year age limit is FFA regulatory age.  It does not vary from airline to airline.

    My SIL hasn't been asked to show my nephew birth cert and he is 1.5yrs old. But different airports has different guidelines.

  • you can also use your child's vaccination record (it has the child's name & birthdate..at least on my kids vaccination records).  Of course it's been a few years, and things may have changed since then.
