  • See my "Just throw up already" post. ?Not exactly the funnest experience, though.
  • I feel almost guilty writing this, but I have not thrown up once. Or even felt sick for that matter. So far, all is well. Had an u/s with seeing and hearing hb on Monday and an ob appt. yesterday. It may be early still, or I may be one of the lucky ones.

You should be almost done with it though - good luck!

  • IRL I seem to meet these urban legends all the time. The perfect pregnancy types. I can't wait to see what happens when their kids are teenagers though..?
  • I have ALL day nausea but I never throw up.  THere are days i wish I would just to feel a little better, but I don't. I have thrown up a couple of times while traveling but I don't think that was entirely morning sickness b/c I get bad motion sick.
  • I havent at all. I havent even been nauseous. Maybe a TINY bit in the begining, but nothing too bad.

Some people don't!  (I didn't with DS either)

Thanks - I hope so! ?My mom never threw up with me, but was miserable all 1st tri - she doesn't remember much of 2nd tri due to bedrest and the drugs they had her on for preeclampsia (so far, I have no symptoms!).?

  • I have not thrown up either. I have had one U/S at 11 weeks and have heard the heartbeat twice. Once at 10 weeks and again at 14 weeks. I do feel queasy at times but nothing ever happens.
  • I have not. I am early but with my last pregnancy I never got sick.
  • I'm almost 6 weeks and I haven't been sick yet.  I'm crossing my fingers that I stay this way.  I was prego once before when I was 18...seems like forever ago...and I was sick from the very beginning.  So, I guess each pregnancy is different.  My mom told me that she was never sick with my sister, but she was sick with me the entire time.
  • Sorry to add to the paranoia but I started getting nausea on Monday.  I think it's only a matter of time before I start ralphing.

  • I have been tired, nauseous, and starving all the time, but I have not thrown up once.  I gagged maybe 5 times when I brushing my teeth, but I am now 11 weeks and the nauseau is gone.  I am even on  200mg of progesterone and it didn't bother me,  I took it at night and went right to bed, it really helped me sleep actually.  I think after all the puking I did in college from drinking the baby thinks I did my time.   I am still hungry pretty often but since I love food, I dont mind it.  At this point, I've already forgotten how tired I was and the little bit of nauseau.  there are 2 other girls PG at work, only one of them is having a hard time.  Don't stress!  You'll be fine.

  • I was nauseous a couple times but have not thrown up yet - and I have a couple friends with babies that never got sick
  • I have all day nausea which get worse in the evening but I never throw up (it usually end in burping...).  The nausea has been getting worse though, so the mad dashes to the toilet may be right around the corner for me.

  • I haven't so let's just say I've been REALLY lucky! ::knock on wood::

Not cool Mrs.Sage!!  You and I are right near each other - I am hoping it will hold off until at least 8 weeks when my business trips are over!!

  • I haven't been sick at all.  No nausea, no gagging.... nothing and I am 8 weeks along. I feel great other than I can't stay up past 8 pm.

I am sure as the sky is blue that now that I said this I will have jinx'd myself and  I will feel sick all day.

I talked to my sister who has 3 kids and she said she never felt sick at all, and that she has the easiest pregnancy.  I hope mine is the same.

  • No nausea or vomiting for me, either -- yet. Could still happen.

  • no throwing up for me. i've felt queasy- but never to the point where i would throw up. i haven't thrown up in years.
  • I never had any m/s with ds - not even nausea and this time I don't really either.  I have never thrown up but I have had nausea once or twice this time around.  Not everyone gets sick.  Good luck to you!
  • I haven't been sick at all, I got waves of nausea for about 5 weeks but that has slowed down too.

  • i was pretty nauseaus throughout my 1st tri, but only tossed my cookies once.  the nausea subsided once i moved into 2nd tri......
  • I just now started feeling nauseous in the afternoon/evenings. I haven't thrown up yet.
  • I've felt dizzy a few times but I haven't had any M/S yet! I feel so lucky. With my first pregnancy, I had M/S until 7 1/2 months and it was an all day thing.
  • I never threw up when I was pregnant.

  • I have never barfed, babe.  Wink  I hope you are as lucky as me!

  • I'm 8 weeks along and I haven't been sick yet (::crosses fingers::)

  • Never had ms with DS, nor with this pregnancy. I rock!
  • :::Knock on wood:::  I am almost 10 weeks and all I have had is nausea/food aversions.  Food is disgusting right now, I eat to survive.  But luckily no throwing up!!  But I've had the exaustion, back pain (OHHH the back pain) and cramps.

  • I haven't been sick.  I do occasionally feel slight nausea, but if I eat something it goes away.  I hope you don't get sick either!
  • Well I'm at 5.2 weeks and nothing yet.
  • I haven't been sick and I am 7 weeks and 4 days or so.

At first I would get a bit nauseous when I was hungry, but once the nurse told me to start grazing, that nausea went away.

I get heartburn from time to time, but nothing severe, and some days I just feel off or my tummy's just not happy, but no puking, thank goodness.

Also, as a side, I read in one of thebump Q&A things that there is a theory that women who were taking Prenatal vitamins before pregnancy may not get m/s as bad because their bodies had already gotten used to it. I was taking prenatals for the past year, so maybe that's it... who knows?

  • I have not had one ounce of morning sickness!
  • Ive only felt sick 2 times, but I've yet to toss my cookies and I'm at 10 weeks.

But for week 6 & 7 I did feel like I was run over by a truck.

  • I have not thrown up at all, yet.  Came close a few times when I had m/s, but never did.  I kept lots of snacks at my desk and nibbled throughout the day.  GL
