I love credit card rewards!

Just by switching to a rewards CC rather than using my debit card I have "earned" almost $130 in cash back rewards.  I am saving up until I hit $200 in rewards, because then I can cash them out for a $250 check.  I love getting money for spending money that I would have spent anyway!

When I get that money back, it's basically paying for the crib.  Woot for a free crib!

    We do the same thing! ?We purchase everything we can on our Amex Gold Card every month, and then because it is a charge card instead of a credit card we are never tempted to let it ride until the following month, pay it off in full and rack up serious points. ?We discovered that they are useful for buying home depot gift cards, they have so far paid for our wood floors, our new 6 burner ceramic grill, and to tint all the windows in our house... It is awesome!

    We do the same - pay it off before they hit us with interest.  That way it really is free money!

    And that is amazing that you have paid for all the above with CC rewards - that is a crapton of money well spent :)

    Thanks for the reminder!  I just ordered my $250 check with $200 in points!  Yay for free money!

    We have the American Express thru Costco (because it's not an additonal charge on our membership!) and we got $460 in cash rewards just for using our CC for stuff we would have anyway. It's crazy how much it can add up if you use it wisely and pay it off every month. I love February - which is when we get the AmEx check in the mail!
