My MFM told me at my last appointment that its standard procedure for them to put everyone pg with twin/triplets on modified bedrest between 24-26 weeks. So far my babies and I have been doing great. I work full-time, but at a desk job, although I do have about an hour drive each way. Has anyone else heard of this? How did you handle working? Or did you stop? I want to work as long as possible, but of course I will do anything I can to make sure my babies stay healthy and to prevent PTL.
Thanks!
Re: Modified Bedrest?
I have been feeling good (except for not being able to sleep, or walking up a flight of stairs w/o gasping for air, or back pain from desk chair, or bh contractions everynight) Other then all that I am healthy and my Dr said there is no need to take me out of work or put me on mod. bed rest.
I do try to take it easy and rest as much as I can though.
I agree w/ pp that you should listen to your body - it will definitely tell you when to slow down.
