Did your DC get a fever when teething??

DD has a tooth breaking through and she's had a fever for 2 1/2 days now. I keep reading that a fever caused by teething is not proven but I can't find any other symptoms in her. Her fever gets to about 102 and goes down to 99-100 whenever we give her tylenol. Other than the fever she has no other symptoms, she's eating, sleeping, not fussing, having plenty of wet diapers, no rashes, playing and smiling so the pedi basically said just keep an eye out and call back if the fever gets higher or if she gets any other symptoms. Did your DC ever get a fever going on 3 days with no other symptoms?

Yep, he gets a fever almost every time.

This has not been the case with DD. Personally, I would call the pedi's nurse line and let them know about the fever just to play it safe.

nope. i think it's up in the air if it's proven they get fevers when teething. most doctors will say no but then others say yes. DD never got a fever while teething.
