Recommend Lactation Consultants?

I live in the Pearland area and I have found a few lacation consultants but they never seem to return my call. Can ya'll recommend anyone and if so, please let me know how much they charge.

I would prefer that someone come to my house than me go to them.

I can't find my list of LC in the Houston area but if you call Women's Hospital they could recommend someone in your area. I used Suzy Adams (from their list and she was fantastic) but she doesn't work in your area. If you email me I could give you her email and she may also be able to recommend someone.

Have you been to a local LLL meeting? They will help you for free plus they'll probably be able to recommend someone to you.

i highly recommend anyone at A Womens Work in rice village. I called them and they sent a great lady out ot my house in Kingwood. She spent 3 hours with us and answered every question we had and was very helpful in the hands on part of the learning we needed help with. When I was weaning my daughter we had gotten down to the last feeding and unfortunately, my husband went in the hospital for an emergency surgery. (hospital was in med center) I called for help on my engourged breasts and one of them stopped by the hospital after they closed and brought me some stuff to help and gave me tips to help. not too mention support! they're terrific there - all of them. I also rented my pump from them.
