I try not to, but during the night I'll sometimes roll onto my belly and it usually makes me wake up. It doesn't hurt it's just uncomfortable enough to wake me.
I don't sleep flat on my stomach (I can, but it's too uncomfortable), but I do sleep on my side with one leg straight down and the other curled up, I roll onto my stomach about half way. I'm sure this will change soon though.
I'm not a stomach sleeper, but, I am always waking up on my back / rolling over on to my back. For some reason, it's just what's most comfortable for me... even though we're not supposed to do it!
<----- Stomach sleeper 100%... I started putting my leg up so I am not laying completly flat on my stomach.
I asked my OB about it because I read something about it not being good and she told me it is fine as long as I am comfortable. And another new mom asked her OB the same thing and she said to sleep on your stomach as long as you can.
I prop myself with a pillow so I'm slanted and sleep away. I'm hoping my little one is as cooperative as yours seems to be! I'd love to make it to 6 mos like this!
I asked my Dr about this because my book said 16 weeks is the cutoff for sleeping on your stomach or back. My Dr said they don't even mention it to their patients because your body will tell you when it's not ok anymore - harder to breath, uncomfortable, hurts, etc. It's not uncomfortable for me yet but I noticed the other night, I just haven't felt like sleeping on my stomach. My back is still fine and I sleep on it in the mornings sometimes but my sides are the most comfy for me - with my body pillow, of course!
I sleep 1/2 way between my side and my stomach a lot. It doesn't bother me at all. Of course... I wake up on my back all the time too so I'm all over the place.
Don't argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level then beat you with experience. - Mrs. G
weird... it doesnt even feel any different. after 6 weeks with my first pregnancy it felt like i was sleeping on a ball lol. Guess this one is just hiding! He's so low he hurts my cervix like painfully laying on it and its terrible.. now that sucks!!
I'm a stomach sleeper and always have been. I've had a really hard time switching to my side. As of right now, I sleep half way between my stomach and my side, and I'm pretty comfortable. I have a hard time sleeping on my sides all night long though. Even with a pillow between my legs, my hips still cramp like crazy. I often wake up and find myself sleeping on my back too.

My doc said the same thing. Your body will take care of you. I'm finding that my belly is beginning to be uncomfortable (
I have a pillow that I sleep against that doesn't allow me to roll over onto my stomach. Besides, it's gotten to the point, that if I even lean up against my pillow enough, she starts kicking like crazy like I'm silently squishing her, so I manage. lol
Sleeping on my stomach is finally starting to hurt. Right now I am trying to not sleep flat on my back. I go to bed on my right but but I wake up on my back. Grrrrr.

I wish! I swear some nights I think to myself, "if only I could lay on my stomach" when I get too far onto my belly it is really uncomfortable, just feels like I'm trying to lay on a bowling ball.
