did anyone set their due date to acutally be their shower date? I am considering doing this so I can get the completion coupon earlier (before baby is here) but I don't want to confuse the people looking at my registry either, but I'm sure if they stop and think about it, they would figure it out?!?

When I registered they told me they send it a few weeks before your due date. If I didn't get it soon enough I could stop by the store and let them know.

Hmmmm, I didn't but when I look on-line now it say "Event Date" so that may be what your registry guests see. I think I am going to go and change mine to my shower date.

I'll probably be changing mine to an earlier date. Shower date is a good idea. One of the girls on SAL put hers about 2 weeks before her EDD and didn't get the coupon until 4 days before the date she listed, so I think it is a good idea to put in an earlier date.

I set my due date 2 wks earlier than it actually was then I called them about a week before and told them I was being induced (which was a lie); I ended up w/2 completion coupons :-)
