What do you do once you are through the training and DC is sleeping well, but may wake up on occasion? Do you let DC go for a certain amount of time or just go in and check on him right away and then let him go back to sleep on his own?
Good luck! I do have the book, but what I am trying to figure out is once you get through the first few days and the baby is sleeping well each night what do you do if he does wake up. I think sleep training really works if the baby is ready, but it doesn't mean the baby will never wake up at night again!
Re: For those who used Ferber method...
do you have the book?
it's our first night (happy effing vday, I'm crying), and we checked at 3 minutes, then 5 minutes, then 10, and now are in the second 10 min now.
If they wake in the middle of the night after initially falling asleep, start the timing all over again
