AW: Credit card debt almost gone!!

This is probably a boring AW post, but I am so excited!  We started diligently paying off all our credit card debt about a year and a half ago...we had A LOT!  Well, we just paid off another one today and are now down to only 2 (we started with 8 or so)!  Those last two should be gone within the next couple of months and then we will be credit card debt free...yippee!! 

Those little plastic cards are the devil...but that's what you get when you are 22 & 23, fresh out of college and decide it's a good idea to get married! LOL Stick out tongue

    That's great!!! I will be so glad when we are completely debt free. With DH & I's student loans it's ridiculous!! I know we will make the money back but right now it just doesn't seem like it. DH's law school was so expensive.

    Thats awesome!  You guys should be so proud!  You rock!  We have started paying off some debt as well and can't wait for that day to come when we don't owe anyone anything.

    Yeah! Good for you! We will be there soon. Mine will be paid off with our tax return. Woo hoo! After that, our only debt will be my student loan!!!! Well and the mortgage but I don't count that:-)

    It's a great feeling, isn't it?  Sometimes I look back at the stupid crap I had to have and bought with my credit card @ 23 and think about how much farther ahead of the game we'd be if I hadn't been so careless back then.

    That is a great AW.  Congrats!  It is so liberating to be free of debt.  We are working on getting rid of the car payments and the mortgage right now.  I can't wait to see what it is like to owe no one.  The idea that the paycheck comes in and only having to pay utilities is so exciting.
