Who else has baby fever... bad?

I never thought I'd be wanting to be a part of the 2 under 2 crowd, but I want another baby sooooooooooo badly! Our house is itsy bitsy and we always said we would move before we'd have another, but with the state of the housing market, God knows when that will be! We have a tiiiiiny 2nd bedroom, but I guess we could make it work. Our "plan" is to wait 6 more months... lets see if my uterus can hold off! ha

I'm on the same page but with the move and the c section suckage, I definitely need to wait a little longer. We'll try again around Christmas after we've moved. We cannot fit another child in here. The house will explode.

Nah, I had a twinge of the fever a month ago, but it's a BAD time for us to have more kids!!! It wore off very quickly.

I think the hardest part is this morning sickness with a young kid around the house. I've heard if you can survive this part, you can survive anything!

Me, me, me.

We live in a large 2 bedroom apartment, but we weren't planning on TTC'ing any time soon because we would like to have a house instead. However, we don't know when we will be purchasing a house, so we decided to TTC late this fall.

I think our house would, too, but apparently the previous owners had 2 teenage girls here - one of whom had a BABY. In this 895 sq foot house! I think we'll have to make it work here if things don't look up soon because I don't want to have them too far apart.

It comes and it goes. I had a dream the other night that I had another little girl and named her Sara. That set off a pang. I am starting to worry that if I wait, it will be too late.

Elijah has that same Elmo, he LOVES it!!!! He sleeps with it every night and it has to go where ever he goes. My mom bought it for him because he always loved it when she showed him the Elmo on his diapers, way back when he was in Pampers Swaddlers.

City, I sometimes think our culture makes us ridiculous about space. Because really, we don't "need" more space. We'd really like it. We "need" an office space and unless Jo wants to share a room witha new baby, that won't be possible. With Jo's sleep issues, throwing her in with a wailing newborn won't work.

So, its a wait wait wait... checking mail.

I feel slight urges every now and then, especially with all of the BFP's here, but honestly, between my horrendous edema, my shiity c/s recovery, BFing trouble all capped off with PPD, I'm think I can wait before I go through that again.

We're only having one more, so I want to be in a position to "enjoy" the pregnancy and the new baby rather than trying to rush it all in just a couple of years.

Jude does, too!!! Awww. He's all snuggled up with him right now. They were soo cheap at TRU so I think I should get a few others just in case this one goes missing. I think Jude would be very upset.

hmm depends on the day...on a good day, I want one now!! on a not so good day when naps suck and I get frustrated, I wonder how I would ever manage to take care of newborn with ds running around so the fever passes, lol!!

we will ttc in about 6 months tho :-P

I was ready a few months ago, but my dr. recommended we wait until Aidan turns 1 year old due to my c/s. I also never thought I'd want in on the 2 under 2, and I totally do!

SCB, we are veryyyy careful with what baby stuff we buy and as soon as he loses interest - in the basement it goes! We're lucky we have the basement for storage because it would be so cramped in here without it! I'm also the type to "organize" (read: throw out) things every couple of months, so that makes it easier, too.

I keep going back and forth,some days it's so strong I could just rip my IUD out myself (okay not seriously... but yeah..), other days - when DD is up all night sick or fussy, whatever, I praise the fact that I have to be SO ready that I make an appointment to remove my IUD *and* wait until said appointment, and then possibly a month or two after it's been out before anything would happen LOL.

Really? The last post I remember reading from you about this topic you said something along the lines of not being able to imagine loving another baby as much as Jude and it was a ways off for you. Ahhh...things can change so fast

We're not really itching for one right now, but I did have the negotiation with my H over the holidays and agreed we could start trying next fall - AFTER my 10 year HS reunion.

Edited to clarify that that would now be THIS fall, like October or November.

it changes daily....some days i just enjoy spending time with just me and ds that i can't imagine another baby anytime in the near future and then other days i am so jealous of everybody who is getting their BFP.

so in a word yes. but i am nervous because i had a great pregnancy the first time around. i just want things to go as smoothly again. and i worry that if i have them so close together, that won't be the case. i keep meaning to call my ob/gyn and have a chat about this. but tentatively, we're thinking of trying when dd turns 1.

I am but it's not going to happen anytime soon. I just started a new job with my company and it involves travel. I'm already not happy about leaving DS at this age let alone a new little one. Oh how I wish I was a SAHM, then I would totally be knocked up right now.

Donkey, I have been feeling that way less and less. As 1 approaches (Wednesday, eeek!) I just feel differently.. and that coupled with the new babies our friends have had lately - forget about it. I need a baby.
