  I always have someone else watch the baby, bc if he starts screaming and the doctor is talking or examining I can't do anything at all.

  I try to schedule it when someone can watch him/them ,but I have taken DS to the dr. appointments with me.  Not always easy, but doable.  It might be harder for a dentist appointment though.

  I schedule around DH's schedule, so he can stay home with DS.

  Thanks, that's what I was thinking.  Once he's older it will be easy to take him places but I couldn't imagin doing it now.  Going to the OB was hard enough!

  I took DD to my 6 week PP checkup.  It was horrendous.  She screamed bloody murder the entire time. During the exam, the dco let me hold her but it wasn't calming her down.  I was in such a rush to get out of the office that I forgot to ask all my questions. I wish I had left her with MH like he offered to do.

  I've taken DD to the eye doctor... it was easy.  The dentist though... I had someone watch her.
