Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Should I send it all to Goodwill?

I have a whole collection of tops that don't fit anymore.  The new mom boobs are just too much for all these button down shirts I have - and some of my t-shirts just look obscene.

I was hanging onto them because I don't know what the girls will be like post-breastfeeding.  Anyone have experience with this and can let me know how it worked out for you?  Is there any point to keeping these tops or should I just let them go?  Thanks!

Re: Should I send it all to Goodwill?

  • I'm still BFing, but I'm hanging on to mine - I'm hoping that my breasts will shrink to smaller than they were pre-pregnancy.  I heard it happens for some women . . .

  • My boobs did go back down to their pre-pregnancy size after I stopped BF.  However, I was never super big to begin w so its not like I had much to loose.

I say hold on to them, you obviously like the shirts and its just a few more months.  BUT, if you are trying to find a reason to go shopping then go ahead and give them away.

  • Definitely hold onto them. After my first son, I actually dropped a cup size from my pre-pregnancy size when I stopped BFing.
  • Mine are back at my pre-preg size, but they're different now, so most of my prepreg shirts don't fit quite right.
  • mine are a little smaller, but still bigger than pre-pg. and i still have belly. most of mine don't fit.

but i would hold on to them until after just to be sure. you never know./

  • Thanks, ladies!  I had to give the computer to DH for work, so I didn't get to check responses till now.

I'm about 45 minutes west of Columbus, in the country...
