bf moms - how did you know dc sensitive to milk

dd is 3m 2w old and it she has had really watery green poo that smells like bile often. I was wondering if she could be sensitive to something in my diet.  i haven't eaten anything different lately, but can milk sensitivities happen at any age?

  • You can cut dairy out of your diet for a week or two and see if it makes a difference. Just remember, for it to be effective you have to cut ALL dairy, not just milk. Anything made with milk or whey needs to be cut: butter, ranch dressing, cheese, etc.

  • DS had blood in his stool and screamed night and day

I made this to help show you what you can and can't eat if you want to try it out

I have to disagree with this. There are levels of intolerance - DS cannot tolerate straight milk, cheese, cream, etc. but small amounts of butter or milk products in prepared foods don't bother him. So I can't eat ice cream or pizza or drink a glass of milk without him getting really sick but I can put butter on toast and eat a frozen meal that lists "milk" as one of it's secondary ingredients.
