I think the crib soothes DD just as well I do now :(

It seems like some nights, when I cant get DD to settle down at night, it's better just to lay her down in her crib with paci and some patting and she's out. I'm glad that she's learning to self soothe a little, but I feel a little sad that she doesn't want Mommy's help :o/ She's growing up too fast!

    If DD is overtired I do this too.  She flails her arms and I can't seem to console her, so I just put her down, give her the paci (which she usually spits out) and pat her tummy.  This usually does it, especially once she finds her fingers to suck.
