    I understand just what you mean. There is no reason for people to be rude! This happened to me- I posted somethihng on ML my first post and they went crazy telling me I was probly 19 and had no idea what being married is all about. They were so rude!

    I am a newbie, people have always been nice to me.  I lurk before I post and I don't ask stupid questions.  If you lurked you would know people write posts like yours all the time and people flame them all the time.  If you don't like the way people treat people here then don't be a member of the online community.

    I am a newbie/lurker and I don't post much, but I love BOTB.

    If you aren't stupid, the girls seem super nice and supportive.

    Aww, thank you for posting. It's so much clearer now about this one. A little sensitive perhaps? Sheesh, they weren't even that mean. Most were really nice to her.

    I think home training would also include not having your full name in a sn.  It would also include how to do your own research first, looking at other posts before posting the same thing that is posted 4 times a day, and being sensitive.  Many newbies say things that are not sensitive just like you think the regular people around here are rude. 

    Acting like you like everyone and being buddy buddy is not being an adult.  Being direct and truthful is not being childish.  Sarcasm and reality is aparantly lost on the people who post things like this.

     totally know what you mean! If we post on here we ARE prepared to possibly hear the answers we don't like but I think of some of us are surprised to hear a stranger call someone they totally have no info on an idiot,  a stupid person, lame and then tell them to shove it up their *** ass. A little overboard, don't you think?
