so confused at people
since ive been a member i have noticed that people dont like newbies and often treat them like ***. i think that it is rude and very child like, people who say things about people that they dont even know should really stop and think about how that other person will feel. we are all part of this website because of something special ; children and we should all respect that

Listen, we don't hate newbies. We were all newbies once, me not so long ago. We aren't fans of dumb questions, silly pointless comments, and people who are too sensitive or otherwise not funny. The women on this board are giving and supportive and will give great friendship to those who don't whine about a little sarcasm and snark.
I almost wish you'd DD before A&M has to see this sh!t, except that's just spinless and awful. I'm glad she's in the shower.

Actually, the ladies on this board are very welcoming to newbies. I still consider myself a newbie because I don't get to post regularly, but when I do no one jumps down my throat. They are not welcoming to idiots, which includes new idiots, and idiots that have been around forever. I am sure the minute I post something stupid, I will be appropriately flamed for it.

Actually, it would give her someone else to yell at.
It's really a simple concept--if they would LURK they would probably get the answer to their question and get a feel for the board. Typical questions that get flamed either get asked A LOT and it's annoying or it's just a completely random simple question they could easily Google. Poor grammar and obvious immaturity also are flame-worthy.
We were all newbies once, too. If they were, accross the board, treated oh-so-badly I doubt there'd be many people here.
We only flame stupidity or flat out crassness.
It's the quality of the post that counts not your post count.
I'm so confused at posts like this. If you don't like the people or atmosphere, why would you continue to lurk and/or post here?
I am a newbie/lurker and I don't post much, but I love BOTB.
If you aren't stupid, the girls seem super nice and supportive.

I understand just what you mean. There is no reason for people to be rude! This happened to me- I posted somethihng on ML my first post and they went crazy telling me I was probly 19 and had no idea what being married is all about. They were so rude!
I'm 22 by the way.
You fail. You picked a bad day to do this. BOTB has had awesome women go through horrible stuff and there have been too many losses in such a short time, forgive us if we aren't in the mood to play with someone who is being stupid.
