In the second trimester? Just wondering because I know some people say that first stages of labor can feel like menstraul cramping. For the past couple of days I been really crampy, and now the cramping is in the back and front. I know this may seem like a stupid question, but this is my first pregnancy so I feel like I am in the dark sometimes. TIA ladies!

Re: Is cramping still normal..
I would call your doctor just to be on the safe side. I know some cramping is ok just because its kinda like "growing pains".. any pains I have in my tummy I just call cramps because thats what i'm so use to saying..
Good luck! I hope everything is ok.
I'm glad you asked this because I was wondering about this too. I'm a week behind you and yesterday I started feeling the "period-like cramps" too. I thought it was because I hadn't had enough water, but even after I drank a bunch I still had them. This is my first too so I have no experience. Hopefully it's normal!

If they're really uncomfortable or happening a lot, call your doctor
But they're likely braxton hicks.
You can feel braxton hicks this early?
I guess so? According to one of my books some people feel them pretty early on, some people don't ever feel them.
I felt them pretty early on with this pregnancy but it's my second. So, yeah, I have no idea. LOL
Well that's good to know, all my friends IRL just keep saying that they didn't feel them till they were 25 weeks on; so I just assumed they weren't BHC, thanks for telling met this!
