Anyone else feel the first flutters and then nothing for a day or two? I have a dr apointment tomorrow and I'm sure all will be well but it's a little weird to feel it for a couple of days in a row and then nothing again.
I just started to feel the baby move 2 days ago too. I only feel it a couple of times a day. I don't get why we don't feel it constantly either. It makes me think there is something wrong. My baby seems to be the most active when I am in a car or around loud noises.
there is still a lot of room in there so you won't feel the baby all the time yet. soon when there is no space in there.. you won't stop feeling kicks, flips and turns.
I was dealing with this the other day.. early 22 weeks I think it was. This early on movement isn't consistent, it can change daily. Your little one is i'm sure just fine! If you need piece of mind then mention it to your doctor at your appointment.. I did the same thing!
when i was only felling flutters it tottaly wasnt constant... it wasnt until about a week ago when i started feeling strong movement that i feel him/her everyday
i think it's pretty normal. i know when i first felt flutters i didn't feel anything for about another 2 wks and then the kicks began but then they weren't every day either. (this was w/ DS)

When my flutters started I felt something and then nothing for 2 weeks. The next time it was a bit stronger, but then nothing for 2 weeks again. The next time it was slight kicks and then 2 weeks later, ones that I can feel from the outside. I think it's pretty normal for movement to not be consistent yet.
thanks for posting this question b/c i felt flutters at 17 weeks...then nothing...on Saturday at 20 weeks I was feeling the baby moving around...and now i haven't felt anything since. I try not to freak out so it's good to hear that it may not be consistent for a few more weeks.
