leaky Avent bottles--help please

We have been using the Avent bottles. They worked fine at first but now it seems like they have started leaking like crazy, no matter how tight we screw on the caps. We also tried Dr. Brown's and have had trouble with them leaking. Are we doing something wrong? Does screwing them extra tight make the problem worse? It is really frustrating to see these precious ounces of EBM dribble away! TIA.

    yes overtightening them is no good . . . i have promblems sometimes but not often . . . just unscrew and screw back on but not too tight!

    This trick works for me each time...

    Take the screw cap and screw it backwards a few times until you hear a "click", then screw on correctly! :)
